The handles are decorated with transverse strokes.

The amphoriskos was excavated by the Swedish Cyprus Expedition in 1930 at Marion, at level 82 of a chamber in Tomb 8. It has been part of the collection of the Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Sweden (Inv. No.: M. 008:007) since 1931.
