Visit From European Joint Master’s Students to the DCHRC

We were honoured to welcome a group of Joint Master’s students from Tallinn University, Estonia and Technische Hochschule Brandenburg, Germany to the UNESCO Chair on Digital Cultural Heritage and the Digital Cultural Heritage Research Centre MNEMOSYNE auspices at Cyprus University of Technology to explore the future of Interaction Design in Digital Heritage.

Together, we engaged in an inspiring discussion and hands-on brainstorming on a powerful idea: how the future will interact with the past. How can a monument as an accumulator of history and knowledge, not only be documented, preserved, but communicate, engage, and tell its own story?

The conversation pushed us beyond the concept of the #DigitalTwin, towards a new vision: the #MemoryTwin, where Cultural Heritage becomes a living, interactive experience. A truly energising exchange with the next generation of designers, engineers and researchers shaping how we will experience history in the digital age.
