EUreka3D, 3D in Cultural Heritage

During Photoconsortium’s General Assembly 2023, that this year will take place in Rome hosted by the University of Basel in the beautiful premises of the Istituto Svizzero, a public event of the EUreka3D project’s capacity building and training programme is organized on 6th June 2023.

After the welcome messages from the Istituto Svizzero, the University of Basel and Dr. Mauro Fazio, from the Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy, the event opens with an introduction on EUreka3D project by Dr. Antonella Fresa (Photoconsortium), the project coordinator.

During the Session will be discussed the current scenario where EUreka3D is involved about 3D in the cultural sector, and why reusable 3D content in good quality is needed: keynote speeches from Europeana, Marinos Ioannides (Cyprus University of Technology) and Frederik Temmermans (VUB/imec) will provide the most recent information, best practices and technological insights on the matter.
