We were delighted to receive a visit from HE Frances-Galatia Lanitou Williams, The Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the People’s Republic of China, today accompanied by Professor Nicolas Tsapatsoulis, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at CUT.
During her visit we were able to show the Ambassador some of the work undertaken by the DHRLab and discuss how cultural heritage is more than just museum objects but can be used to create narratives that engage, entertain and educate audiences across different cultures, interest groups and places. Prof. Tsapatsoulis stressed the importance of the work undertake at the DHRLab and our remit under the UNESCO Chair on Digital Cultural Heritage to share both expertise and knowledge with colleagues national and international welcoming further discussions with colleagues and Knowledge Institutions in South East Asia.
