The German Embassy To Cyprus Visits DHRLab

We were truly honoured to welcome distinguished representatives from the Office of H.E. Bundespräsident Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Germany and the German Embassy Nicosia to our lab. On this momentous occasion, we had the privilege of sharing our lab’s mission, highlighting the Mnemosyne Methodology for the documentation of the Past and the crucial importance of digital cultural heritage documentation, protection and preservation.

During this special event, our Lab Director, Dr. Marinos Ioannides, joined us virtually! Dr Ioannides’ online presence was necessitated by a vital mission in Sweden, where he and the team are currently at the forefront of efforts to digitise Cyprus’ largest cultural collection outside of our island. This mission is a testament to our unwavering commitment to preserving and showcasing Cyprus’ rich heritage on the European and international stage.
