The UNESCO and ERA Chairs on Digital Heritage at the Cyprus University of Technology participated in the CIPA International Symposium 2023 – Florence which took place in Italy between the 25th and 30th of June, 2023.
CIPA International Symposium was jointly founded in 1968 by ICOMOS (International Council of Monuments and Sites) and ISPRS (International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) to facilitate the transfer of technology from the measurement sciences into the heritage documentation and recording disciplines.
The Chairs were represented at the Symposium by Post Doctoral Research Associate, Dr. Elina Argyridou and Research Fellow Mr. Ioannis Panayi who presented the latest results in the domain of 3D digitization of tangible Cultural Heritage.
The presentation focused on the exceptional results of the EU_Study_3D_CH on Quality as those were applied to the Fikardou pilot of the EU_ERA_Chair_Mnemosyne Project.
