Opening for an HBIM Modelling Specialist

The Digital Cultural Heritage Research Centre MNEMOSYNE has an opening for an HBIM Heritage Building Information Modelling specialist, able to realise, draft and groom BIM projects, as well as their management, in line with the standards and institutionalised procedures, through the acute use of updated software and technological devices.

The person we are looking for is an enthusiastic architect, civil engineer or surveyor with strong design skills and a proven track record of coordinating and implementing design processes for small, medium and big projects. If you are interested in HBIM (Heritage Building Information Modelling) and want to learn more about this information modelling methodology for historic and heritage buildings, you are in the right place.

You need to be a member of the ETEK/CY or any other accredited EU Chamber of Engineers with at least five years of experience running projects. You need to demonstrate experience in design coordination, procurement processes, and sustainable construction methods and detailing who can work independently and has effective leadership and organisational skills.

Therefore, we aim at the use of BIM in the area of Cultural Heritage: 3D Reconstruction, Recovery and Restoration, Digital Fabrication, Urban and Architectural Design. The individual designer will be able to update the design methodology in line with the most recent advice of European directives.
