Tekniker is a technology centre, located in the Basque Country, Spain, that specialises in advanced manufacturing, surface & material engineering and ICTs for production. In the field of metrology, Tekniker stands out for offering advanced dimensional calibration and measurement services and innovative developments, ranging from macro to micro scales, and with 2D/3D inspection and measurement technologies for the digitisation of different kind of objects and scenarios.

Additionally, Tekniker’s laboratory is certified in dimensional metrology and provides calibration and measurement services using a wide range of technologies. This expertise provides the latest digital innovations from industrial inspection and metrology to the Cultural Heritage sector.

The UNESCO Chair on DCH was actively involved in a joint Training activity with Tekniker during the Summer School event co-organised with Heritage Malta in Valetta, September 2024 and we look forward to further exploring the possibilities this collaborative agreement holds in the documentation of Cultural Heritage.
