As part of BPOC’s Dreaming of AI series, we have invited Dr. James Hutson to talk about how Extended Reality (XR) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) have emerged as transformative tools in preserving and disseminating cultural heritage. This webinar will navigate the confluence of XR and Generative AI technologies, shedding light on how they can be harnessed to break down barriers and create enriching, accessible experiences for diverse audiences. Participants will be introduced to cutting-edge case studies and practical examples where XR and Generative AI have been effectively implemented in cultural heritage settings. These examples will not only highlight the potential for enhanced audience engagement but also underscore the role of these technologies in preserving the intangible aspects of culture and heritage that are often lost in traditional preservation methods.
