MNEMOSYNE project announces its Final Event for Stakeholders & Policymakers
The H2020 ERAChair MNEMOSYNE at the Cyprus University of Technology Digital Heritage Research Lab is proud to announce the Final Event for Stakeholders and Policymakers as part of the EU-funded H2020 Mnemosyne project.
The inauguration of this two-day event, taking place on the 7th-8th of December, at the Pefkos City Hotel, Limassol, will be attended by Ms Theodosia Apostolou from the office of the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation & Digital Policy for the Republic of Cyprus and Mr Nicos Nicolaides, Mayor of Limassol.
Over the past five years, the #Mnemosyne Project has worked with cultural heritage stakeholders and policymakers to identify, select and holistically digitise exemplar monuments and artefacts as part of leading-edge research and development into digitally preserving the past for future generations.
This event brings together those stakeholders and policymakers with the #Mnemosyne Project team and international collaborators one last time for an intensive series of roundtable discussions, presentations and demonstrations.
During the event, the #ERAChair holder, Prof. @Kyriakos Efstathiou will present the project recommendations for holistic digital documentation of cultural heritage and the future vision for the Digital Heritage Research Lab as a centre of excellence for the Eastern Mediterranean region offering partnership, training and consultancy opportunities to industry, business and knowledge institutions.
