The UNESCO Chair was honored to welcome a group of students and teachers from the Regional High School of Lefkara on a educational visit. The visit took place on April 10, 2023, and aimed to give the students an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in digital heritage research and technology.
We presented to the students the work carried out at the UNESCO and ERA Chairs and had the opportunity to meet and talk with the fellows. They were informed about the latest technology in place for 2D/3D scanning modeling and digital reconstruction in the domain of cultural heritage.
It was a great opportunity for all the students and their teachers to learn how important it is preserve and protect digitally our past and keep a digital copy for the generations to come.
