Call for Participation: HackIt!4EU Challenge

Step into the dynamic world of digital cultural heritage, innovation, and creativity by joining the Pan-European HackIt!4EU Challenge at the EuroMed2026 Digital Heritage Summit. If you are passionate about working with 3D models and Cultural Heritage data, this is your opportunity to collaborate with innovators from across Europe and develop creative solutions using cutting-edge digital heritage technologies and high-quality 3D datasets from the TwinIt! Part II campaign.

Over two immersive days (27-28 May 2026), participants will explore and experiment with Europeana’s rich digital assets, transforming ideas into tangible prototypes while showcasing the educational value and creative potential of Europe’s cultural heritage. This unique initiative invites you to push the boundaries of innovation and actively contribute to shaping the future of Europe’s digital heritage ecosystem.

This is a truly unique event across Europe, offering a one-of-a-kind platform for collaboration, innovation, and impact. Exceptional and distinctive awards will be presented to the winning teams, recognising outstanding creativity and technological excellence.

Organised by Europeana.eu and UNESCO Chair on Digital Cultural Heritage under the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU 2026, the HackIt!4EU Challenge forms part of the official closing activities of the Twin it! Part II campaign by Europeana and the European Commission.
