EUreka3D, 3D in Cultural Heritage

<p><!-- wp:paragraph --></p> <p>During <a href="https://www.photoconsortium.net/annual-event-2023/">Photoconsortium’s General Assembly 2023</a>, that this year will take place in Rome hosted by the University of Basel in the beautiful premises of the Istituto Svizzero, a public event of the <a href="https://www.photoconsortium.net/eureka3d/">EUreka3D</a> project’s capacity building and training programme is organized on 6th June 2023.</p> <p><!-- /wp:paragraph --></p> <p><!-- wp:paragraph --></p> <p>After the welcome messages from the Istituto Svizzero, the University of Basel and Dr. Mauro Fazio, from the Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy, the event opens with an introduction on EUreka3D project by Dr. Antonella Fresa (Photoconsortium), the project coordinator.</p> <p><!-- /wp:paragraph --></p> <p><!-- wp:paragraph --></p> <p>During the Session will be discussed the current scenario where EUreka3D is involved about 3D in the cultural sector, and why reusable 3D content in good quality is needed: keynote speeches from Europeana, Marinos Ioannides (Cyprus University of Technology) and Frederik Temmermans (VUB/imec) will provide the most recent information, best practices and technological insights on the matter.</p> <p><!-- /wp:paragraph --></p> <p><!-- wp:paragraph --></p> <p><!-- /wp:paragraph --></p> <p><!-- wp:paragraph --></p> <p><!-- /wp:paragraph --></p>
