Agios Athanasios is a suburb of Limassol and an independent municipality of Cyprus since 1986. It is located 3 km (1.86 mi) from Limassol and owes its name to the patron Saint of the municipality, Agios Athanasios. The population reaches approximately 15,000 inhabitants.

Ο Άγιος Αθανάσιος είναι προάστιο της Λεμεσού και ανεξάρτητος δήμος της Κύπρου από το 1986. Βρίσκεται 3 χιλιόμετρα από τη Λεμεσό και οφείλει το όνομα του στον πολιούχο του δήμου, Άγιο Αθανάσιο. Ο πληθυσμός ανέρχεται σε 15.000 περίπου κατοίκους.
