Seal of “blessing”, for sealing usually lead objects which were given as a blessing/memorial to the
faithful during their visit to a particular pilgrimage. The material it was made of is stone. The inscription
on this particular seal refers to the Holy Cross.
The artefact belongs to the George and Nefeli Giabra Pierides Museum of the Bank of Cyprus Cultural
Foundation.
